Roadkill Rampage Issue 1 – To Be Released Summer 2020

Roadkill Rampage is Rodney Fyke’s first venture into horror. He teamed up with Eamon Hill of Pigbone Comic Studio to create this wicked tale of horror and suspense.

In this issue, we meet Ace and Tess a young couple taking a relaxing drive out into the country. Along the way, Ace decides to play a game of chicken with some wildlife and things take a turn for the worse. While Ace thinks he has the upper hand in the game, the animals soon expose who is really in charge.

While the story is a completely different direction from Rodney’s previous published works, horror and suspense are genres that he has long wanted to venture into as a writer. After meeting Eamon and seeing his work on Arcana Vaquero, the two decided that they were a good fit to work together on this project.

Rodney draws a lot of his influences from Alfred Hitchcock and John Carpenter and uses the idea of less is more in the storytelling. Eamon, who shares the same love of classic horror, has rendered the art in such a way that you do not see all the blood and gore that is in many of today’s horror comics. However, the story leaves you craving more.
